The Gospel of Jesus Christ

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the “Good News” that God provided the Way for us to be reconciled to Him, to be with Him in eternity and to have life and have it in abundance (John 10:10).
Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve. All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin cannot exist in the Presence of Holy God. For us to be freed from the wages of sin, which is death (Romans 6:23), we are in need of a Saviour. God sent His Son into the world to be the propitiation (atoning sacrifice) for our sins (I John 4:10). God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). That is not the end of the story! Jesus rose from the dead (Mat 28:6) and ascended to God the Father. He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19). Jesus is the perfect, sinless and acceptable sacrifice to Holy God for our sins.
